SUMMARY:

Due to the demands of integrating substance use disorder (SUD) residential services into the King County behavioral health system, the Care Authorizer responsibilities will initially focus on SUD residential authorizations and utilization management. This recruitment will be used to recruit for two positions.  These positions will eventually include mental health and SUD outpatient authorizations and utilization management. These positions do not typically involve direct client contact. Authorization determinations are made in concert with the treatment provider via telephone, e-mail, and FAX.
