DSHS Prevention System Manager

As a Prevention System Manager, you'll promote strategies that support healthy lifestyles by preventing the misuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs and support that recovery from substance use disorders.

You'll provide culturally appropriate and sensitive technical assistance and training that disseminates the latest substance abuse prevention science research for service providers, community based organizations and coalitions. You will also implement statewide evidence based prevention initiatives based on comprehensive knowledge of effective policies, planning processes, program facilitation and evaluation.
