Be the voice for those who may be unheard.  Professional's whose passion for ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Washington are wanted. As the Statewide Investigation Unit (SIU) Manager, you are the subject matter expert regarding DDA policies and work processes followed when conducting investigations of alleged abuse, neglect, financial exploitation and/or abandonment. You function as the administration's liaison regarding investigations to the Residential Care Services (RCS) Division, the Washington State Patrol, and local law enforcement for the Developmental Disabilities Administration.
 
Fast Forward – Your first 6 to 12 months
You have developed and implement leadership/management strategies that promote trust, respect, professionalism, open communication, collaboration, and teamwork with Statewide Investigation Unit (SIU) team members and stakeholders.
 
Developed a strategy to ensure that all incidents of suspected abuse, neglect, financial exploitation, or other serious incidents involving clients who reside in Residential Habilitation Centers (RHCs) are impartial and thoroughly investigated in accordance with policy requirements and prescribed timelines.
