Funding Opportunity - School Walk Zone Improvements (WTSC)

The funding opportunity is designed to allow flexibility for local agencies or groups to work to increase the number of children walking or biking to school. We anticipate that this project will be of interest not only to individuals and groups currently doing traffic safety work, but also to those who are working to make communities safer.

Applications for this funding will be submitted through a SurveyMonkey form available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7FXZL9Y. The deadline for applications is March 30, 2018, at 5 p.m.

We highly recommend that you prepare your responses to the application questions and then copy them into the SurveyMonkey application. The questions are found on Pages 11-14 of the attached application packet.

Two webinars are scheduled to discuss the application, one on February 7, 2018, and the second on March 7, 2018. Information about how to participate in the webinars is included in the application packet on Pages 3-4. There will be a Frequently Asked Questions document posted to the WTSC website that will be updated weekly.

Please contact Scott Waller, Program Manager, (360) 726-9885, swaller@wtsc.wa.gov, if you have any questions about this funding opportunity.
