Positive Indian Parenting Facilitator Training

WSU Extension is hosting a three-day Positive Indian Parenting Facilitator Training Tuesday-Thursday, June 20-22, 2017 in Spokane, WA. The training will be taught by a facilitator from the National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA).

The training sessions are from 8:00am-4:00pm each day and will be held at the NorthEast Washington ESD 101 Conference Center, in the Schulteis Conference Room. The Conference Center is located just behind the main ESD building at 4202 South Regal, Spokane, WA 99223.

The training, curriculum/presentation materials, lunches and refreshments will be provided free of cost, thanks to funding from the Department of Social and Health Services’ Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery. Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation, lodging and meals outside of the training.

All individuals interested in becoming facilitators are invited to attend and participate! At the completion of the three-day training, attendees will be certified to facilitate the Positive Indian Parenting curriculum.
