Prevention Leaders-

The Washington State Coalition to Reduce Underage Drinking (RUaD) has been invited to a work session of the House Early Learning and Human Services Committee and the House Public Safety Committee.  During this Joint Legislative Work Session, RUaD members and scheduled speakers will be presenting information on the impacts of I-1183 and I-502 on youth.

WHEN:       8am-10am, Wednesday, February 19.

WHERE:     Hearing Room C - John L. O'Brien Building (Olympia).

See attached agenda with set list of presenters and topics.  Please understand that this is a Legislative Work Session, not a hearing.  Therefore, there won’t be an opportunity for guests to sign-in and speak.

You are invited to show your support of RUaD and the prevention of underage alcohol and marijuana use by attending this Legislative Work Session.  Because space is limited, please RSVP by 3pm on Friday, February 14 to Ray Horodowicz at Ray.Horodowicz@dshs.wa.gov with your name, the name of your group, the community you represent, and the number of individuals planning to attend.  Additional information, such as a map and driving directions, will be sent separately.
