Strengthening Families Program for Parents and Youth ages 10 -14 Facilitator Training

Over three days, you will be trained to facilitate the 21 different parent, youth and families sessions in this internationally recognized evidence based practice model.  In addition, you will receive updates on the latest research that is happening in Washington State and nationally and get lots of helpful hints on how to best implement the program in your community.  This dynamic training will include lunch and snacks all three days.  Official curriculum binders will be available for purchase through ISU after the training.  The training will prepare people to be facilitators.  It is recommended that 3 - 4 people attend from each community if there are no experienced facilitators in your area.   The training is also appropriate for agency/school representatives who are considering implementing the program.   For more information on the program, visit our website:  http://sfp.wsu.edu.

The training fee - $150 is payable to WSU Extension.   Space is limited to 24 registrants.  Send your registrations to:  WSU Whatcom County Extension, 1000 N. Forest, Suite 201, Bellingham, WA  98225-5594 or email to jamie.olson@wsu.edu

Registration deadline is April 17, 2017.
