Student Assistance Specialist (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Puget Sound ESD seeks a bilingual Student Assistance Specialist to provide prevention and early intervention services to students in the Seattle School District. The Learning Support Services places Student Assistance Specialists in schools to implement comprehensive student assistance programs that address problems associated with substance use, violence and mental health issues.

Pre-employment testing for bilingual proficiency is required.
Position based in Denny Middle School/Chief Sealth High School.
Work Schedule: School schedule (~8 hours/day; 185 days/year – total ~1,480 hours/year).

Salary: $22.11 - $25.65/hour (salary offers consider candidate qualifications, experience and internal equity). Excellent benefit/retirement package, including participation in Washington State Department of Retirement System and Tax Sheltered Annuity Plan.
