Health Promotion and Prevention Services Manager

The Health Promotion and Prevention Services Manager (PSM) exercises significant independent judgement in decision-making and functions above first level supervision. The PSM is responsible for contract monitoring and compliance with state and federal contracts and related documentation. The Health Promotion and Prevention Services Manager provides expert guidance, advice, and consultation to the Health Care Authority/Division of Behavior Health and Recovery (HCA/DBHR) Prevention Section, senior management, and leadership about substance use prevention programming, training, technical assistance, community prevention services development and implementation, and evaluation. This position promotes healthy communities and supports positive youth development through community-based prevention services.

The work location for this position is Olympia, WA. The PSM will report to the HCA/DBHR representative and section supervisor.
