Mental Health First Aid - Adult curriculum

You are more likely to encounter someone in an emotional or mental crisis than someone having a heart attack.  Learn how to help a friend, family member, coworker or neighbor in need. The National Council for Behavioral Health certifies individuals throughout the nation to provide Mental Health First Aid courses to prepare their communities with the knowledge and skills to help individuals who are developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.  Identified on SAMHSA’s National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices, the training helps the public better identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses.

Students must complete a 2-hour self paced course prior to attending this training.
Students will receive a link to this 2-hour training from the Instructor after successful registration into the course. This email will be sent to the email address provided to us during the time of registration.
