Notice of Prevention Program Funding Opportunity

The West Central Community Prevention and Wellness Coalition and the East Valley Community Coalition are seeking a new fiscal agent for their programs.   Each coalition provides critical services in their respective communities to promote prevention of substance use disorders.

These coalitions are funded by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR) and are part of a statewide Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI) for substance use prevention and mental health promotion. Eligible organizations include local government, local school districts, education service districts, and non-profit organizations committed to prevention education for the community. More information about prevention and CPWI can be found at www.theathenaforum.org/cpwi.

An informational meeting will be held on June 9, 2017 at 10 AM at West Central Community Center, 1603 N Belt, Spokane. Please RSVP at www.surveymonkey.com/r/PrevProg. The timeline for letters of interest will be discussed at the meeting.

Please feel free to forward this message to others who may be interested in this opportunity.
