Prevention Policy Day
Join the Washington Association for Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention (WASAVP) for the 2020 Prevention Policy Day.
Prevention Policy Day is a fun-filled day dedicated to youth advocating for healthy community policies through our State’s legislative process. This annual youth-focused advocacy day is a great way to provide all youth with a voice into the government (making) process. Prevention Policy Day includes a short youth-led advocacy training and rally with snacks, from 11:00am to 12:00pm, on the South Portico Steps in the Washington State Legislative Building on the Capitol Campus. In the afternoon, advocates will attend meetings with their legislators to discuss healthy community priorities. Start now setting up your own meetings with your Legislators!
Parking is free around the Capitol on January 20, 2020.
