Program Manager (WMS2) - Washington Traffic Safety Commission

As a Program Manager, you will develop and manage a group of related projects and operational activities for one or more of the agency's statewide traffic safety programs. You will also help develop and oversee a variety of annual federal- and state-funded traffic safety projects, and collaborate with a diverse team of private, public, and non-profit stakeholders to carry out the agency's mission. In this position, you will work closely with peers in the agency to analyze complex problems, develop innovative solutions based on proven traffic safety strategies, and create new programs when needed. Your individual efforts will be maximized through a shared management approach that relies on trust, differing perspectives, respectful communication, personal accountability, and healthy team dynamics. Your work will include understanding and interpreting governing rules and regulations and executing programs that operate within those parameters to achieve extraordinary results. Because of the scope and importance of this work, we are looking for a creative and committed professional with strong administrative, communications, and program management skills, particularly one who thrives in teams but also excels when working independently.
