The Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) is announcing an opportunity for the position of Public Health Education Liaison to serve as the agency expert on alcohol, cannabis, and vapor education and prevention activities at the state and national level. The ideal candidate will use knowledge gained from previous experience and current research to develop and implement strategies to create greater awareness and knowledge (both internally and externally) of the issues related to the regulation, use and misuse of alcohol, cannabis and vapor products. As the Public Health Education Liaison, you will be the expert advisor in topic areas that include current laws and rules, prevention and public health impacts, best practices, youth access, adult influence, and over consumption. Additionally, this position will share information on the status of statewide education and prevention programs with the Board and senior agency management on a regular basis to assist in the development of rules and analysis of legislation.
