Tobacco Prevention Equity and Social Justice Consultant

You will serve as the Tobacco Prevention Equity and Social Justice Consultant for the State Tobacco and Vapor Product Prevention and Control Program (TVPPCP) within the Community Based Prevention Section (CBP).  You will be responsible for coordinating the planning, implementation, and evaluation of identified strategies, activities, and tactics to reduce tobacco- and vapor product-related disparities articulated in the state tobacco and vapor product prevention and control strategic plan and federally funded work plans.

You will develop or enhance partnerships with community and tribal organizations and serve as contract manager for those funded organizations addressing tobacco- and vapor product-related disparities. You will support the TVPPCP through the provision of subject matter expertise and the formulation of policy recommendations in the area of tobacco and vapor product prevention and control to reduce disparities and advance equity and social justice. Lastly, you will support the Department of Health's mission by supporting and collaborating with our partners and stakeholders to enhance the health of individuals, families, and communities.

This is a full-time permanent Health Services 3 (HSC 3) position within Prevention and Community Health (PCH).
