Tobacco Treatment Specialist training (FREE registration + travel reimbursement)

The Washington State Department of Health Tobacco and Vapor Product Prevention and Control Program, in partnership with the Health Care Authority and Educational Service District 112, is pleased to share a free training opportunity:

Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS) training (not otherwise offered in WA state!)

  • Dates: Monday, March 2, 2020 – Thursday, March 5, 2020 (8am-5pm Mon-Wed; 8am-3pm Thu)

  • Location: DoubleTree Suites – Southcenter (near SeaTac)

  • Ideal trainees: WA health care providers, patient navigators, community health workers, and peer specialists with relevant experience, working under appropriate supervision and interested in pursuing the NAADAC National Certificate in Tobacco Treatment Practice (NCTTP); public health professionals also welcome

  • Registration: Free ($1,200 value)

All trainees are eligible for travel reimbursement (see attached guidelines).
