Tribal engagement 101: Transforming relationships with Tribes

For all levels and professions engaging with tribes—individually or at the organizational level, from beginner to advanced. This half-day intensive mixes engaging lecture with brief live exercises.

Morning Lectures: Participants will gain essential tools and background for researching, planning, and implementing a Tribal Engagement Plan (TEP). The course builds upon cultural and historical concepts that shape the Tribal Engagement process. Participants will learn the basic and advanced topics in an applied, boiled-down framework. Topics move from engagement basics of assessment and research to more advanced topics enhancing interpersonal and organizational engagement. Modules address contemporary tribal sovereignty, resilience, and the significant impact of historical issues on today’s engagement challenges. These provide step-by-step practical strategies for navigating both routine and challenging issues. Participants apply these concepts in easy real-time exercises, gain formulas and processes they can immediately adapt for their work with Tribes. MCLE & CE Eligible. View the Course Agenda HERE.
