Washington State Tobacco and Vapor Product Prevention and Control Program strategic planning engagement session

Engagement Session to be rescheduled.

In light of the critical efforts associated with the vaping associated lung injury outbreak, the implementation of Executive Order 19-03: Addressing the Vaping Use Public Health Crisis,  and the Governor’s request of the State Board of Health (SBOH) to impose a ban on all flavored vapor products at its October 9th board meeting, the strategic planning engagement sessions will be rescheduled.

New dates for the 3 engagement sessions should be scheduled by early next week; the sessions will most likely be rescheduled for late October through November.

Engagement session objective: As a result of this Strategic Planning Engagement Session, participants will contribute to the state-wide strategic planning process. Participants will provide insight, information and perspective across the spectrum of Washington’s tobacco and vapor product prevention and control community.
