Webinar: Communities That Care overview

This session will include a broad overview of the prevention coalition model, Communities That Care (CTC). Communities That Care is a community-based prevention system proven to reduce youth health and behavior problems communitywide. Based on the premise that communities are unique, CTC helps local coalitions develop community-specific prevention plans based on their unique levels of behavioral health problems and risk and protective factors.

During this session, we will discuss risk and protective factor-focused youth prevention, data-driven decision-making, and assessing the needs of a community through using diverse community representation, and working through the five phases of CTC.
