Webinar: Cultural resilience during Covid-19

Social distancing during Covid-19 has impacted the ability for many individuals to attend American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) traditional ceremonies, cultural gatherings, and events. This training will discuss the cultural aspects of grief and loss, and will equip providers with ideas and resources to creatively assist their patients in staying connected to their culture and other positive resources.


Outcomes/Objectives

  1. Examine the importance of AI/AN cultural practices as protective factors during times of crisis.
  2. Assist patients in identifying strategies to stay connected to culture, and others while social distancing.
  3. Provide cultural resources to assist with positive coping during crisis.
