Webinar: Managing conflict in groups

Coalitions often comprise diverse groups of stakeholders and partners focused on disparate goals, such as reducing underage drinking, prescription drug misuse, or youth marijuana use. Yet in order to move prevention efforts forward, it is critical for coalition members to work together toward common goals. This webinar will introduce participants to a variety of group participation tools and communication strategies shown to be effective in building and maintaining cohesive, well-functioning groups. Specifically, we will explore ways to build the capacity of coalition leaders to manage organizational change and group conflict, run effective coalitions, and help teams enhance their communication skills.
