Webinar: The pharmacology of cannabinoids: Implications for substance misuse prevention

Prevention practitioners across the region are faced with the need to better understand, translate and appropriately frame the emerging science on cannabinoids to inform substance misuse prevention efforts.
This interactive webinar will introduce the pharmacology of cannabis and current research on the value of cannabinoid-based molecules for the treatment of various diseases of the brain, including epilepsy and brain cancer. A facilitated discussion will focus on how to frame this research and guide communities to prevent marijuana misuse.
