Webinar: Strategic advocacy: Winning policy change without crossing the lobbying line

Please join ACEs Connection and the Campaign for Trauma-Informed Policy and Practice (CTIPP) for a free webinar to learn how to drive public-policy change without violating the restrictions on non-profit organizations or the requirements of funders.

The featured speaker of the webinar, “Strategic Advocacy: Winning Policy Change without Crossing the Lobbying Line,” is attorney Allen Mattison, an expert at helping non-profits understand the legal distinctions between lobbying and non-lobbying activities.  He will address how to structure your campaigns strategically to get the biggest bang for your bucks.

Other speakers will include Kelly Hardy with Children Now and Jeff Hild with Building Community Resilience at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University.  The session is co-moderated by Elizabeth Prewitt, ACEs Connection’s Policy Analyst and Andrea Blanch, CTIPP co-chair and consultant on trauma-informed approaches and systems change.
