Supporting Families of Young Children at Risk for Ongoing Domestic Violence

Through a case example of a family with young children who are at risk for continued experiences of domestic violence this webinar will: 1) Discuss how to integrate a diversity and equity-informed stance that acknowledges sociocultural and historical trauma while addressing risk within families; 2) demonstrate how to assess risk; 3) identify points of entry for intervention in partnership with families to prevent escalation of violence; 4) provide practical safety strategies; and 5) review ways to engage in supportive conversations with parents and children about violence.

Note: All 1-hour sessions take place at 10am PT/ 12pm CT/ 1pm ET. Certificates of attendance will be provided to all who attend at least 50% (30 minutes) of the live webinar. CEUs are not available for these sessions.
