Webinar Description and Agenda:

This webinar is for all Tribal and Urban Indian program leaders in Washington State who would like to learn about the opioid education tools from phase two. These tools are available for use in your efforts to educate your community members on the topics of opioid prevention, treatment and recovery. The agenda will cover:

  1. An overview of campaign strategy
  2. Research results from Tribal interviews
  3. An overview of the full range of new tools available for use, including:
    • Printed materials on safe storage/disposal, overdose prevention and treatment options for pregnant and parenting women
    • Videos on safe storage and disposal
    • Event tips, banners and tablecloths
    • Newsletter/newspaper articles
    • Social media content
    • MAT presentations and videos
    • Naloxone program fact sheets
    • Medication locking bags available for Tribes to distribute
    • Tips for localizing the campaign in your community
    • Answers to your questions

How to join the webinar:

Join the webinar from your laptop by pasting the link below into your browser. You’ll need to join by computer to see the presentation visuals. You can also join by telephone only if you just want to listen to the audio and we can provide a PDF file of the presentation. It’s fine to join by computer and then use the phone line for your audio if your landline is more reliable than audio over wireless.
