The Northwest Center for Public Health Practice (NWCPHP), in the UW School of Public Health's Department of Health Systems and Population Health, has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Training Coordinator. This position will support the training team in managing training and learning activities aligned with NWCPHP’s mission of promoting excellence in public health by linking academia and the practice community. This position will co-create and project manage a variety of training activities for local, state, and tribal public health professionals throughout the Pacific Northwest and nationally. 

The Training Coordinator will work collaboratively with other members of NWCPHP’s e-learning, outreach, and evaluation teams in responding to requests for training and technical assistance both from within the University and from partner organizations around the region. This work includes assessing training needs; working with partners, subject matter experts, instructional designers, and graphic designers to develop learning materials that address skill gaps; and supporting evaluation activities to improve learner satisfaction and agency programs. This position requires a high level of initiative, independent thinking, organization, documentation, and the ability to utilize project management techniques to manage project activities from beginning to end.
