Seven Washington communities invited to participate in next step of Home Visiting program

The Department of Early Learning announced Monday that seven Washington communities have been invited to participate in a more in-depth assessment of community need and capacity to implement evidence-based home visiting as part of the planning for the Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program.

The seven communities are:

  • Franklin County
  • Grant County
  • Mason County
  • Pierce County - Council districts 2, 4 and 6
  • Snohomish County - North Everett
  • South King County
  • Yakima County
