SUD family navigator training opportunities

Washington State Community Connectors (WSCC) and partners offer a 16-hour training course split into four days to educate families about substance use disorder (SUD) and related treatment options. The training is for parents, family members, and caregivers seeking to support loved ones with SUD. Participants will learn about up-to-date information on SUD, addiction's effects on the adolescent brain, skills for families navigating their relationship with someone with SUD, and systems navigation. This training is supported by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAMHSA) and includes a toolkit with resources specific to Washington State. Visit WSCC's website to learn more and register for the March 18-21 or April 8-11 trainings.
