Webinar: Alcohol home deliveries and enforcement challenges

The pandemic is creating unprecedented shifts and changes in the alcohol marketplace adding additional challenges for Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE). With the increasing expansion of direct-to-consumer (DTC) commerce through home deliveries of alcohol comes increased risk of illegal sales to minors, unlawful activity and enforcement challenges due to limited resources. As the beverage alcohol landscape changes rapidly, there are increased responsibilities for ALE and alcohol regulatory authorities to maintain an orderly and safe alcohol marketplace and to protect the public’s health and safety from alcohol-related harms. Enforcement experts Carrie Christofes, Executive Director of the National Liquor Law Enforcement Association (NLLEA), Chief Thomas Kirby of the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority and Chief Frederick Mahony of the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission Enforcement Division will discuss the status and strategies being deployed to regulate and enforce this new era of alcohol access. Join NLLEA and NABCA for this 1 ½ hour webinar, which includes an opportunity for questions.
